Maintain finishing system controls and assist lead personnel in maintaining the controlled documentation and line operation.less than/p>less thanp>less thanb>Duties:less than/b>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>Assist the Production Lead in daily operations pertaining to powder lineless than/li>less thanli>Apply powder to production parts in a manner consistent with customer expectationsless than/li>less thanli>Accurately record daily powder usageless than/li>less thanli>Maintain a clean and safe coating booth and associated work areasless than/li>less thanli>Assist in masking, hanging, and removal of production line partsless than/li>less thanli>Assist in packaging and transfer of finished goods to the shipping departmentless than/li>less thanli>Assist when necessary, correctly energizing wash line, powder booth, and associated ovensless than/li>less thanli>Act as a secondary source for abrasive blasting operationsless than/li>less thanli>Act as a secondary source for wash line chemical monitoring to maintain proper chemical metricsless than/li>less thanli>Maintain the responsibilities of the ISO 9001 system in accordance with the requirements defined in the Quality Manual, and Procedure Level documentationless than/li>less thanli>Participate actively and positively in Ownership Thinking and Lean activitiesless than/li>less thanli>Assist in manufacturing when necessaryless than/li>less thanli>All other duties assignedless than/li>less than/ul>less thanp>less thanb>Skills:less than/b>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>Minimum two year paint line and operation experienceless than/li>less thanli>One year powder finishing application with knowledge inless than/li>less thanli>Electrostatic charging Coronaless than/li>less thanli>Application and recovery equipment function and controlless than/li>less thanli>Powder coating material chemistries and cure schedulesless than/li>less thanli>Metals materials and pretreatment processless than/li>less thanli>Possess basic computer knowledgeless than/li>less thanli>Good math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsless than/li>less thanli>Detail orientedless than/li>less thanli>Ability to use precision measuring equipmentless than/li>less thanli>Good verbal and written communications and interpersonal skillsless than/li>less thanli>Ability to follow direction both written and verballess than/li>less thanli>Knowledge of proper care and maintenance of application and recovery equipmentless than/li>less thanli>Manual dexterityless than/li>less thanli>Willing to work hours needed to complete jobsless than/li>less thanli>Use key quality measuring instruments to confirm paint thickness, gloss and adhesionless than/li>less thanli>Thorough knowledge of the various types of paint equipmentless than/li>less thanli>Able to work in shop environment: high noise level; exposure to dust, heat and coldless than/li>less thanli>Able to complete work with 75% standing.
