Position Purpose:

Focus on quality and preforming Quality Control inspections in a warehouse environment. Inspects products/shipments to assure that they meet defined standards for customer requirements, or any other metric that the industry considers a measure of quality. This position will work Monday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Enters operations information into the computer system.

• Generates reports and checks for accuracy.

• Examines product/material for defects. Rejects defective orders and records type of errors.

• Monitors performance(s) in required areas and according to agreed upon standards.

• Works with customers and suppliers where quality issues are impacted and/or affected.

We are looking for candidates with:

• At least 6 months prior work experience

• Demonstrated math, counting, reading and writing skills

• Should be experienced on a forklift for loading and unloading

Environmental requirements:

• Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.

• Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.

• Ability to make repetitive movements, including, but not limited to bending, or squatting.
