ESD Quality/Process Engineer
Job Description:
We're looking for a Process Engineer to join our team at Arrow Electronics in Reno, NV. This individual will be the link between quality team, and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of quality process improvements, analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our all our processes including ESD compliancy to standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide, implement, and execute ESD requirements per standards for facilities
Ensuring adherence and compliance to ESD standards (e.g. ANSI/ESD S20.20 )
Entering ESD audit data into Maintenance Connections software
Provide and resolve any internal and external user’s issues with ESD application
Create new processes to improve quality standards
Schedule windows to ensure that target timelines for internal audits per required standards, including ESD compliancy are met for the overall business
Work closely with all required entities and teams
Have In-depth knowledge of Distribution Processes (SME)
Help secure requirements, document operational procedures, build training documentation, brainstorm and cement testing scenarios for new functionality, coordinate discussions with key business stakeholders and drive signoffs with Logistics operations, and provide testing support to ensure solutions meet the requirements
Document and verify test scenarios for functional and regression testing across the various applications used within the facility
Engagement with the business and providing status updates, facilitating calls with operations, business and leadership
Job Complexity
Understanding of Warehouse, Logistics, and Labor management
Deep understanding of various industry standards (ISO9001, AS9120, AS9100, ANSI/ESD S20.20, ISO 14001, etc.)
Proficient at developing and executing business quality processes specific to different functional teams
Superior verbal and writing communication skills, interpersonal skills, strong adaptability skill and strong analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment coordinating with internal customers to help support and enhance business systems
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including the ability to work collaboratively with all functional teams and users
Ability to work independently on root cause analysis, developing corrective actions, ESD test requirements
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
What We're Looking For
3-5 years of experience in quality process engineering roles: ESD management and execution, Quality processes strategy, improvement, and testing
4-year degree in Bachelors Degree in Engineering required
Experience with ESD compliance standards: ANSI/ESD S20.20 or related
Experience in technical writing: writing business documentation
Even Better if You Have
Experience with Automotive, Aerospace, Medical industries standards and Quality requirements, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems
Previous experience in manufacturing, or equivalent highly desired
Experience with Maintenance Connection or related audit software

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$72,000.00 - $88,000.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
