Electro Mechanical Technician

Job Description
Hamilton Company is seeking an "Electro Mechanical Technician" to assemble semi-automated equipment used for precision fluid measuring and operator testing. We're looking for those trained in, or have experience with, electronic/electrical machines or fine mechanism service or assembly. Electro Mechanical Technician will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment on industry leading equipment with cutting edge technology.
Other Electro Mechanical Technician responsibilities include:
Assemble simple to sophisticated laboratory fluid handling equipment and robots
Use of common test equipment, including voltmeters and specific product testers
Work in a production environment assembling mechanical laboratory devices
Requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, high efficiency, and ability to follow process instructions
Use of hand tools, tweezers, and other light machinery
Assemble equipment according to blueprint and schematics correctly
Qualifications
Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas
Experience using diagrams or blueprints, and follow other written or verbal instructions
Mechanically inclined with good dexterity - able to use both hand and power tools
Able to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to rework
Proven experience with safe production standards
Stable work history
Basic math may be required for computing quantities and simple addition and subtraction for counting parts
Requires excellent manual dexterity, ability to work with small components and hand tools, and a keen eye for detail and quality
Must be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1 2 years experience in assembly and testing of small electro mechanical assemblies
Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion Preferred
Prior assembly or operator experience preferred
