Kelly Services Receiving QC Inspector in Carson City, Nevada
Kelly Services is seeking a Receiving QC Inspector for a client in Carson City NV.
Receiving Inspector will perform inspection and determine compliance of bare PCB’s, electronic components, incoming RMA material and PCB’s coming in for internal rework.
FQC inspector is responsible for through-put and quality standards for the entire area to which assigned.
Assures material meets specific purchase order requirements as to marking/labeling of reel and part
Checks the packing list against the items received and the purchase order request
Performs the receiving inspection of the PCB, electronics parts, and/or mechanical parts
Verifies the part number, manufacturing part number, part marking, date code, lot code etc… per receiving inspection procedure/work instructions
Records the inspection result, and do the material transaction in the ERP system
Measures the part values using the multimeter to ensure the part value is within specification
Raises and reviews Technical Inquiries for any discrepancies observed
Creates NCMR report for non-conforming products and moves them to MRB cage
Takes pictures of the defects/labels and uploads to the ERP system
At the end of the shift, cleans the working area and forwards all rejected material to MRB for disposition
Escalates all issues to Supervisor / Engineer / Manager. If matters are unresolved, notifies the Quality Manager immediately
Attends training and implements all procedures pertaining to Production, such as ESD, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Safety, Test and Inspection Procedures, MSD Handling procedure, IPC-A-600, etc.
Completes all other duties as assigned by management
Reviews MPI, Deviations, ECO, TI (Technical Inquiry), Job Specific Customer Documentation before performing inspection.
Assure that the changes (Deviations, ECO’s, Purge, and TI are implemented effectively)
Performs FQC First Article Inspection.
Reviews Production Schedule or Instructions from Lead/Supervisor.
Scans boards inspected in Voyager system. Scanning implies that you have read all customer documentation, applicable MPI pages, deviations, ECO’s and any other associated change documentation. Scanning also implies that you have completed all steps listed in the MPI on the page that specifies your job and completed all steps required by existing Procedures and Work Instructions governing inspection criteria.
Escalates all issues to Supervisor / Engineer / Manager. If matters are unresolved, notifies the Quality Manager immediately.
Conduct the Final inspection of the PCB assemblies per defined in MPI, workmanship standards specified by IPC-A-610 (class 2 and 3) as well as customer requirements.
Makes suggestions on process and quality improvement to Supervisor / Engineer / Management
Education & Experience
Education: Minimum High school Graduate
Experience: Minimum 2 years working experience in receiving inspection in the CM or similar environment
Skills:
Knowledge of industry standard workmanship requirements IPC-A-600 is preferred
Must possess hands on experience for finding and reading the component data sheet (specifically component marking and identification)
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
Ability to use digital calipers, pin gauges and multimeter
Proficient at reading and interpreting component drawings.
Basic computer skills for MSWord, Excel and Outlook
